Malay Dance
Explore how Malay Dance builds dance skills, confidence and cultural appreciation. Students train weekly and perform at school and community events.
The Malay Dance CCA provides students with opportunities to appreciate and practice traditional Malay dances that reflect cultural heritage and identity. Through structured training, students learn fundamental techniques, coordination, rhythm and expressive movements while working collaboratively as a team.
The CCA nurtures confidence, discipline and resilience as students’ progress in skills and perform for school and community events.
Guided by values of Care, Integrity and Respect, students develop an appreciation for cultural diversity while striving to bring out the best in themselves and others, growing into empowered learners through the performing arts.

Key Learning Experiences
Tier 1
Students learn basic dance postures, hand and foot techniques, rhythm awareness and simple choreographies, focusing on discipline and teamwork.Tier 2
Students refine techniques, learn more complex routines, develop expression and synchronization, and participate in school performances.Tier 3
Students take on leadership roles, mentor juniors, master advanced choreography and formations, and represent the school in external performances and events.
