Download and set up Microsoft Teams on your Android device to join school conference calls. Follow these steps to install, set permissions, and log in.

Here are instructions on the download, installation and use of Microsoft Teams on Android phones and tablets:

  1. Download the application here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.teams&hl=en&pli=1 (opens in new tab)

  2. After installation, please ensure that the application is given permissions to access both video and audio. This will ensure a smooth Teams experience when sitting in a conference call using the app.

  3. We also recommend creating an account to use Teams if you do not have one. This will enable you to use other features in the app.

  4. Once installed and you have logged in, you can click on the link provided by the school. The application will automatically launch and you will be brought to the page to adjust your nickname, camera and audio settings.
